Nice traditional looking hotel with lovely secluded villa rooms, which were well service every day. Nice breakfast, with local Thai dishes, which were yummy, egg station, omelettes made to order, fresh fruit, yoghurts & pastries. The breakfast restaurant is located up a very steep hill & depending on where your room is, you may want to take advantage of the free from reception, buggy ride up the very steep hill The hotel is well located with an array of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and spas/massage establishments right outside the hotel. There are street markets selling just about everything a short walk away, down the hill. Due to the hotel being on an elevated location off the main road, you don't get disturbed by the busyness of the main street but do benefit from everything so close by. Karon & Kata beaches are close by. The latter you may want to take the bus to as it's slightly further away. Overall, it was a nice hotel, if a little tired & in need of updating.

Montree, the manager hosted a great breakfast every morning of our stay. It was plentiful, with a wide range of choice which would suit any eating style including continental, cooked, fresh fruit, soups and salads along with pastries, muffins, juices, tea and coffee. There were several swimming pools to choose from, and a small clean well equipped gym. Housekeeping was exceptional and staff friendly. There was a golf cart to transport people up the hill which was nice in the hotter part of the day. We were able to get a topper for our bed so it was softer, and a smaller pillow without fuss. Location is excellent - close to both the beach and town. We walked everywhere unless we went on a tour.

The location is great - this hotel is close enough to Kata Beach (about a 10-minute walk) and very close to Karon Beach (about a 5-minute walk), so you can enjoy both beaches depending on your mood. There are lots of good restaurants nearby too. The hotel breakfast is decent and worth the money. You can get a ride up the hill in the morning to the breakfast area (a big plus for my elderly mom). The staff at the breakfast restaurant is very friendly. The reception staff is even more friendly and helpful and they were able to fulfill all of our requests promptly.

The walk in pools from private balcony. They were so lovely as when I arrived I was going up the ramp to lobby and my hoo have way when I’m turned and as they didn’t have a railing on the side of the ramp i I fell into the garden and landed on one of their clay pot light and broke it in hall and smashed a few of their plants They straight away got out first aid kit and put some crane for my scratches. And then they moved us to the closest room near lobby to help me getting stoned on the golf buggies. They were so lovely Sorry about your light and plants

absolutely fantastic, we chose the room with the swimming pool right oputdise our balcony, sop convenient, clean and beautiful. there was a lot of privacy too, as the pool goes around a lot of other rooms so we stayed in our lane and so did the other guests. so many pools to chose from besides ours, and everything was beautifully crafted. you can also smoke on the balcony and I loved it. if you are a non-smoker this will be an issue as most guests are Russians and most of them smoke in their balcony as I have observed.
